Overlooking Mount Canigó, the emblem of the Catalan Country, we cultivate our high-altitude vines using organic and biodynamic farming, with respect for nature and our terroir.
Specialists in Carignan, the emblematic grape variety of Roussillon, we also showcase rare and distinctive local varieties, including Chasan and Chenanson, to create authentic wines that express the full richness of our mountain terroirs.

Organic farming & biodynamics
At Mas Llossanes, we cultivate our vineyards using organic and biodynamic farming to produce authentic wines that respect living things and their terroir. Located in the heart of the Conflent, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, our estate implements many practices that promote biodiversity, soil fertility, and environmental preservation.
A living viticulture:
We transform all organic waste from the estate (grape pomace, pruning wood, etc.) into biodynamic compost, which is reused directly in the vineyards. Every winter, cover crops made up of legumes and cereals are sown to naturally enrich the soil with organic matter and stimulate biological activity.
Sheep also graze in the plots, contributing naturally to their maintenance and promoting biodiversity. These practices reflect our commitment to working in harmony with nature and sustainably preserving our land.
A CHOICE…
Our choice of Mas Llossanes was first and foremost a labor of love that met our criteria. We were looking for a vineyard of about ten hectares, located at a high altitude and isolated in the garrigue.
DESTINY…
After two purchase offers on other properties, we always came back to Mas Llossanes as if this place were calling us. The second time, we realized that this was where we wanted to settle down.
A NEW BEGINNING…
In the first year, our farm had only three things: vines, a tractor, and pruning shears. It was a major challenge for us because with those, we had to create an entire estate, and the identity of Mas Llossanes.
One of the highest vineyards in France
Mas Llossanes is an 11-hectare high-altitude vineyard, reaching up to 700 meters, making it one of the highest estates in France. It is located in the country's sunniest region: Roussillon. The vines were planted in the 1940s and are rooted in granite sand and schist soils.
The vines are between 40 and 80 years old, and six native grape varieties make up the estate's mosaic: Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Chenanson, Cinsault, and Chasan.
