POC A POC 2023 - Organic & Biodynamic Mountain Liqueur Wine

Liqueur Wine – Grenache d'Altitude, Cuvée Confidentielle

From 75-year-old Grenache vines, grown organically and biodynamically (Demeter certified) at an altitude of 650 m on granite and schist soils in the Catalan mountains, this liqueur wine is produced in a very confidential cuvée.

Hand-harvested, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, fortification with organic wine alcohol on the pomace, then aged for 2 years in a single, topped-up barrel to preserve purity and freshness.

Deep garnet color. Intense nose of brandied cherry, pomace, and peony. Balanced palate, with controlled sweetness, supported by silky tannins and a beautiful freshness.

Ideal as an aperitif, with chocolate desserts or aged cheeses.
